Are we normal??

It was a Sports Stadium.

Eight Children were standing on the track to participate in a running event.

* Ready! * Steady! * Bang !!!

With the sound of Toy pistol,

All eight girls started running.

Hardly had they covered ten to fifteen steps,

when one of the smaller girls slipped and fell down,

Due to bruises and pain she started crying.

When the other seven girls heard the little girl cry they stopped running, stood for a while and turned back.

Seeing the girl on the track they all ran to help.

One among them bent down, picked her up and kissed her gently

And enquired as to how she was..

They then lifted the fallen girl pacifying her.

Two of them held her firmly while all seven joined hands together and walked together towards the winning post........ ..

There was pin drop silence at the spectator's stand.

Officials were shocked.

Slow claps multiplied to thousands as the spectators stood up in appreciation.

Many eyes were filled with tears

And perhaps even God's!

YES.!! This happened in Hyderabad [ INDIA ], recently!

The sport was conducted by
National Institute of Mental Health.

All these special girls had come to participate in this event

They were spastic children.

Yes, they were Mentally Challenged.

What did they teach the WORLD.?

Teamwork.?

Humanity.?

Equality among all.??

Successful people help others who are
slow in learning

So that they are not left far behind.

This is really a great message... Spread it.!

We never do this because we have brains & Attitude  !!!!

IT IS ALL OK....

Its okay to have fears,

its okay to make mistakes.

Its okay to give up on some things,

its okay to be quiet sometimes.

Its okay to cry even when everyone laughs,

its okay to laugh at the professor's joke.

Its okay to love the one who hates you,

its okay not to like cricket that much.

Its okay if you dance like a duck gone wild,

its okay if you sing like a frog.

What matters is... IF BEING WHAT YOU ARE MAKES YOU HAPPY :) its ABSOLUTELY OKAY..!!

Goodness Is God

In times of hardship I miss comfort,

Vice-versa, my happiness misses sorrow
Such is the definition of life I see,
Inevitable ups and downs yet perfect
As to balance the rising opposite

Some say almighty beings steer

And others say Cause and Effect or Fate
Confusions, multi-beliefs, choices,etc.
But I go with the latter for a reason
Cause and Effect, I can explain it!

I study, I pass! as simplest as that I can’t see
My pass certificate being processed beforehand

It’s confidence and fate I believe in life

Be good, get good is what I see
Goodness outshines darkness in such ones
But greater goodness creates Gods
Gods live without Cause and Effect
Beings of eternity they are!

So what it takes to find the God is ‘Goodness’

‘Goodness is God’ for me.

change is a rule

i remember the days
when my mind used to be
overrun with emotions and thoughts
of all things good and the worst;

as time went by,
with each new day,
and with a brand new life to look forward to,
my mind emptied itself in a flash, just like that;

with a cup of coffee in hand,

i sit back and think about the yesteryears,
smiling at the change that has taken over me
and the life that i have been blessed with now;

strolling down the memory lane,
unafraid of the future
blinded by the ecstasy of living
eventually, with eyes wide open,
i’ve come to understand, that
some things, including life, change for the better;

I’m sure I will live a Joyful life

We all have one life to live
One heart to beat
One chance to live our dream
To live like we want it to be
We will make many choices along the way
That’s why we have Friends that will help
Us on our way
Day to Day, Year to Year
There are many hardships along the way
So always carry a smile every which way
Because with one smile you can brighten someone’s day
And make it a cheerful year
Just one chance to make an impression on someone
So be good to all you see for someday
They may become a boss to you and me
I do not know what a waits ahead of me
And what surprises may come my way
But I’m sure I will live a Joyful life

Friendship is not the song that everyone can sing

Even when they meet us, they pass without a greeting;
These very friends; our food had been eating.
Those who were very close to us and our relations;
Now; have decided to change their stations.
Those for whom we bore the brunt of neglect,
Are today, pessimism personified and perfect.
For those who we gave up half our lives;
The result was just a bundle of knives.
How we regret the day we met,
Today, we just regret & regret.
However, we did learn one thing;
Friendship is not the song that everyone can sing....

Quotes for Life

The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature. – Anne Frank

Perhaps the most important thing we can undertake toward the reduction of fear is to make it easier for people to accept themselves, to like themselves. – Bonaro W. Overstreet

Every time we choose safety, we reinforce fear. – Cheri Huber

Death is not the biggest fear we have; our biggest fear is taking the risk to be alive — the risk to be alive and express what we really are. – Don Miguel Ruiz

Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born. – Anaïs Nin

It is one of the severest tests of friendship to tell your friend his faults. So to love a man that you cannot bear to see a stain upon him, and to speak painful truth through loving words, that is friendship. – Henry Ward Beecher

In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends – Martin Luther King, jr.

In everyone’s life, at some time, our inner fire goes out.  It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being.  We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit.  ~Albert Schweitzer

The most I can do for my friend is simply be his friend.  ~Henry
David Thoreau

i take life as it comes...

waking up drenched in sweat
realizing it’s nothing but a nightmare
I get up to drink a glass of water
to drown the fear that woke me up!
sins I have done plenty
I do not know if the good I did is enough
to grant me a passage to heaven
or worse, born again as human;
never cared for what people thought,
never worried about those who left,
never a minute I spent crying over split milk,
what had to happen, had to happen!
what I was yesterday is what I am today,
yet people think I have changed, I wonder why!
I take life as it comes
no expectations and no demands!
with the guillotine waiting at every step,
uncertainty looms large over tomorrow,
I fear I need to live every moment
of today before I am dead!

life goes on....

No matter wat unexpected changes u get into, life goes on...either u have to adjust according to situations or u r out of the game..!!! All the plans go to hell wen its not ur tym,wen everything goes according to u as planned it is ur tym and reverse case is also possible but had anyone gave a thought wat goes good wen everything seems wrong? probably NO..!!!
but wat goes good is it makes us tough, it gives us courage,it makes us learn that tym stops for nothing and no one in this world wud stop working wid or without someone else...these situations make us know that parents are everything, the only unselfish girl is a mother,we find that father is a truest friend and motivator,we also filter out facebook n mobile phone's contact list....
but power thought is the most important thing....no situation can break us only our thoughts and reactions towards a particular situation break us so it depends upon us how do we react to the things happened to us....the only way to keep urself from breaking is to smile in every situation and face it with full confidence....

beauty is in the eyes of the beholder

beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

You think somebody is bad-looking? Ask their mother or their
grandmother. They never think their children are bad. And, what do
you mean by good-looking and bad-looking? How long can you stay? The most good-looking, after sometime does not look so nice.

It is not in the outer appearance, it is the spirit, the inner soul. Look at the spirit inside, there is inner beauty. That beauty of the spirit is undying. It increases day by day. It increases with age also.
Wisdom and maturity bring so much beauty. Beauty is not just some appearance.

Similarly, ugliness is not out of appearance. Somebody may look very good with good makeup, but if their heart is ugly and the mind is all twisted and full of negativity, however nice they may appear, their vibrations will tell you that they are not beautiful. So, it is the mind that makes one beautiful.

find eternity in each moment.....:)

Today u r mine, tomorrow u may go, today u love me, tomorrow may hate me, today u r wid me, tomorrow u may leave me, today u r sensitive towards me, tomorrow u may become insensitive....

Life is filled wid such thoughts as nothing is permanent and certain in this world, today we have everything, tomorrow we may lose everything but  wise are those  who do not think about future but live in present as the name says "PRESENT"- a gift of god to us where we can live without any worry of future and without the painful memories of past but most of us live in the tensions of tomorrow & memories of yesterday....there are only a few ppl who have got the courage to live in present.

even I am not in the category of ppl but really want to be in !!!

Life is full of surprises, some r good n some are bad but each one teaches us something so we should live to gain experiences from  all the incidents as it is said "Journey of life starts with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience and the goal id to fill the bag of experience before the bag of luck gets empty ."
We should learn from every mistake and should try to correct it & make our life a heaven. If we learn to make good use of our experience & learn to live in present, we can find our heaven in the midst of hell..!!! :)

And they take us for granted....

Sometimes, we think we're a part of someone's life. We share things with them, spend time and

gather good memories with them, then suddenly they show you that no matter

how much you want them to be a part of  you, it will never happen. And in spite of what you've

been through together, you're still strangers; As you always have been, and always will be....

they are there till they want u but wen u want them they r never there and they don't even bother to

ask u if u have got any problem, when they want u to do something for them they will behave as if u r

the only one for them n there  is nothing and no one other than u but wen u need them, their help,

their support, their presence  they r never there n they never will be.. they take us for granted and

the only reason they take us for granted is that they know that no matter how much they hurt us,

how  much they say bad to us we won't stop loving them n caring for them...but they don't care....

Are you a realist or an idealist??

Realism VS Idealism – In regard to philosophy, it’s an age old conflict – a constant struggle for balance between the imaginative child (idealist) and the pragmatic adult (realist) but the matter is much more than just being practical or impractical. Being an idealist is considered to be a foolery, it is said that one should be practical & should be realist but the question is how can we achieve something which we had never dreamed of ??  and by being a realist one can hardly dream of anything because being pragmatic actually leads you nowhere, If you stop taking risks you stop getting knowledge about the world.
There are pros and cons to being an idealist, and being a realist. As an idealist, you can let your imagination and romantic dreams of grandeur soar without limits, unbound. But that child-like sense of wonder can sometimes result in all fluff, and no real action.  You aim high, sometimes so high, that you don’t attain anything, and you crash and burn. The realist is practical, accepts the reality of limits, and works within them. But the realist may run the risk of, not running any risks. And without taking risks, boundaries remain unbroken. You may be able to grasp what you’re reaching for, but it’s only at an average height, and your accomplishments may be lukewarm at best.
being an idealist is not wrong at all until what you are dreaming of, is positive and you can work hard towards it to attain it.

Promises....(LIES wrapped in ribbon)

God never promised us anything, he never promised that the life will be like fairy-tales,he never promised that everything will always be fine and that we'll never face any sorrow in our whole life...but ppl did promise certain things...promises like i'll always love u, I'll be urs forever,u r the most precious one,no one can ever take ur place etc. we may ask wudn't our life be much better without these lies but the thing is we really lived only in the times wen we were told these lies....and these lies made us live our life with so much enthusiasm that we forgot almost everything wen we were told these lies...but life is not about the fact that we lived during that time..

the question is how we faced the time wen we finally realized that those were just lies and the person was lying throughout...there is no sound there is nothing just silence a deep silence......no one hears that sound wen our heart finally broke only we hear, only we feel that pain of being played wid... we start cursing why did we believe those lies but we don't ask ourselves y the hell did we give that chance to anyone to play with our heart.... although god did not promise to us days without pain laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but he did promise strength for the day, comfort for tears, and light for the way....so it depends upon us...wat do we want to believe the optimistic part or the pessimistic part....

tired.....

I'm tired of being sad.
I'm tired of crying.
I'm tired of feeling empty inside.
I'm tired of feeling worthless.
I'm tired of feeling stuck.
I'm tired of feeling crazy.
I'm tired of being alone.
I'm tired of yelling.
I'm tired of pretending.
I'm tired of dreaming of a life I will never have.
I'm tired of missing things.
I'm tired of missing people.
I'm tired of remembering.
I'm tired of wishing I could start all over.
I'm tired of not being able to just let go.
 I'm tired of faking it.
I'm tired of being different.
I'm tired of being angry.
 I'm tired of needing help.
I'm tired of always wondering when God is finally going to let me be happy.
Most of all, I'm just I'm tired of being tired.....

Tear brimmed eyes

Tear brimmed eyes scan the garbage
In search of cans and food
The eyes that never saw
The sight of playgrounds or school
The dry chapped hands that only felt
The touch of hammers and rags
The hands that only know
How to clean and scrub
And not to write and draw
The dusty feet that have never felt
The touch of a warm shoe
Or felt beneath them
A carpeted floor
The feet that only know
The prick of thorns and rocks

A child, child like us
Who should have gone to school
Who should have read the books we did
And eaten ice cream on a hot summer's day
Instead of picking through the trash
Or weaving carpets with fingers that
Were meant to hold pencils and pens
A child, with childhood stolen away.

The lily- William Blake

The modest Rose puts forth a thorn,
The humble sheep a threat'ning horn:

While the Lily white shall in love delight,
Nor a thorn nor a threat stain her beauty bright.
The Lilly is offered as a form of perfect love in its innocence and honesty. It does not bear harmful thorns, like the rose, nor does it wear horns it will never use offensively, like the sheep. Instead, the lily offers itself as it is: pure and vulnerable.
It is this vulnerability, however, that keeps it from fully engaging in life. Although it is described mostly in positive terms, the Lily is predominantly an image of death and, in some cases, virginity. In keeping with the other flower-poems of Songs of Experience, self-denial is the same as self-murder; the lily in its purity is already dead as winter.

let go...

LET GO

Let go of the need to enlighten everyone.
Let go of the anguish that comes with being one of the few who understands.
Let go of the need to be perfect.
Let go of the fact that you may not live to see the transformation you’ve dreamed of.
Let go of the desire for overnight success.
Let go of what others think.
Let go of what doesn’t work.
Let go of everything, in order to make room for your true work to shine:
Live sustainably.
Raise awareness and consciousness.
Inspire.
Share.
Learn.
Nurture and support.
Search for a better way of doing things.
Love.
Believe.
Don’t give up.
Keep moving forward, even if it’s only half a centimeter.

the art of letting go....

Do you know your true potential?
We are heavily influenced by the people around us – your parents may have told you growing up that you could only do certain things, work in certain reputable careers, or befriend certain groups of people. Your peers may all want you to be a wise-cracking thug like them.
But you don’t have to do anything they say.
It’s better if you don’t listen to anyone but yourself, because only you can discover your true potential – your true skills and passions that will help you become your best self and live the best life you can.
Many of us want to impress others, for fear of failure or rejection.
We want to be loved, so we try to please. We’ll go the safe path, we won’t have radical ideas, and we won’t assert ourselves too much.
Somewhere along the way, we realize our true dreams have never been recognized or pursued. We spent all our time pleasing others, we forgot about ourselves.
Has there been something you’ve always wanted to do? Something you’re incredibly drawn to, but never had the chance to explore more deeply?
What stands in the way?
Let go of inhibiting beliefs. Let go of fear. Let go of the past if you want to make way for new adventures.
Too often we kill our own dreams without even knowing it. A simple shuffle, and that dream is on the back burner, rejected before it had a chance to breathe.
Don’t kill your own dreams. Cherish them. Get rid of the obstacles and pursue them.
If not now, when?
When will you begin to pursue your true interests? When will you put yourself first?
After all,
The need to impress others causes half the world’s woes. - Vernon Howard
Remember that every time you choose to please someone else, you sacrifice yourself.
I’m letting go of the need to please. Don’t live your life to impress others. Most likely, they won’t ever notice your efforts. Instead, you’ll find you’ve traded your dreams for someone else's.
What will it take?
Let go of those who can’t understand your need to grow. Let go of your past lives. If you want to become your most excellent self, you must let go of what doesn’t work. Package your past lives away, pay homage to them yearly for helping you become who you are. But no more can you follow the rules of your past – they no longer apply.
Letting go can be ‘normal’. In fact, I believe it’s best if you don’t attach yourself to anything. The reality is that the world is constantly shifting, a melting pot of impermanence. Attaching yourself to any one thing means you will inevitably be heartbroken when you find that one thing isn’t what it once was.
Open your heart to letting go: embrace change.
Letting go means change. Any personal growth must come from change. It’s best to learn how to embrace change.
The art of letting go is a skill, much like gratitude. With a little practice, letting go can become as fluid as second nature.
What are your dreams?
Craft a plan and take the first step.
You’ve only got one life to live. And it’s short.
Don’t trade your dreams for someone else’s.
Do you want to spend less money? Go green? Try making your own things? Save the world? Help out in some small way? Find happiness? Create genuine, lasting, and incredibly loving relationships?
How is your current situation helping or hindering your pursuit?
Get rid of the obstacles. The world needs you.
Without the ability to let go of our past lives, we end up stagnating. We can’t grow, learn new things, or experience life to its fullest extent. We destroy the opportunity to become our most excellent selves. In that process, we destroy the opportunity to live a better life.
